Oh. My. God. I found an old (REALLY OLD) USB yesterday when I was shuffling through random boxes in my cupboard, and I plugged it into the computer, only to find photos from like 2004!
This is a photo of some of the cutest children to ever walk this planet, Gemma and Ally. They were my neighbour's kids, and lived next to me since they were born until their fifth birthday, whereupon they moved to a big town about half an a hour away because of their parent's work, and education oppurtunities.
Now, these kids were the coolest little models around, because you could ask them to pose, and they'd do it, and once you were done with ' planned' shots, they just relaxed and went into a little world of their own, which was generally much more beautiful than when they were posing.
This was one of those natural shots. We'd been playing dress-ups and pretend nearly all day, before I decided heck, I might as well get some photos, so I'd gotten them to pose for a good half an hour or so. Then, decided we should call it a day, and as soon as I'd told them how good they'd been at it, they just went into their world.
They started picking the flowers of the trees, discussing like little grown-ups what book they wanted to have read to them before bed. I nearly died with the cuteness. Oh, and you haven't figured it out, yes, they're twins.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
